You see how the lines on the mouth turn DOWN? that’s apparently what I look like when I’m NOT being a roke star. Current Mood: ![]() If you enjoyed this post, make sure you subscribe to my RSS feed! May 28, 2008 - 23 Iyar, 5768

I’m leaving tonight to head for Virginia to chaperone the fifth grade field trip to Williamsburg, Jamestown and King’s Dominion. Fortunately I will be chaperoning my OWN child mostly with a couple of others who are bringing their mothers and therefore, the fate of some random fifth grader is not in my (capable but reluctant) hands. I’m going to admit something here, in public. I love, cherish and adore my kids. Other people’s kids? Not so much. Anyway, the trip should be fun, but taking place such as it is at the end of the school year and with all the accompanying craziness, it means I’m feeling a little squeezed about finishing my book. Because I found out there’s no room on the bus, so I’ll be riding with some other mothers, which means I can’t write in the car on the way down. I mean, I might try but I know the lure of motherly chat will dissuade me from writing. As will writing in the car which sometimes gives me car sickness. Ew. And of course during the next two days there will be NO writing time whatsoever. But it should be a fun trip. Anyway, I haven’t packed yet (nor even SHOWERED yet this morning! Curse you dreams of Jared Padalecki! Curse you, delightful, delicious, JPad-filled unconscious…what does this MEEEEEAN!?!) And I have to think about buying some snacks and whatnot. And it’s already past noon. I’d better get hustling. But, for your viewing pleasure, I will be posting some fun pictures over the next couple days (assuming my pre-scheduling thing works.) I won’t be around to read your comments or answer them, but enjoy the art. M

I have a new Spice Brief coming out June 1, and you can see more about it HERE. You’ll be able to buy it at eharlequin.com, too — and Fictionwise, on Amazon (for Kindle) and other places. blurb: ![]() If you enjoyed this post, make sure you subscribe to my RSS feed! May 26, 2008 - 21 Iyar, 5768
My name is Christopher Howell and I’m a professional model/actor/dancer. I attend college, work for UPS, and work towards becoming famous each and every day.
This year’s Mr. Romance competition was your second — did you find it different attending RT this year from last? If so, how? Did you prepare differently for the event? I thought it was the same, but I was more prepared. The main steps I took this year. Well, I worked out a little more. I tend to go by the theory that if people like you for who you are, than your going to do great in this life. If they don’t like you, then change what they don’t like about you for the better….never worse :D I tend to think everyone is a winner and should be given at least one chance at doing whatever it is they desire.
So tell me what it’s like, living in my pocket. O, it’s great fun. I find M&M’s in there all the time! Not the regular ones, but the ones with peanuts in the middle! So much joy!
You’re a very fine dancer — do you take classes? I’ve taken a few, but mostly learn from random people and living my life. The more I go out and do things, the more talents I tend to pick up. I guess you could say I’m a magnet and everything in this world has some type of metal in it that draws me towards it, or the other way around.
Whatever you want to make! Just kidding. I like just about everything. Variety is the spice of life!
What do you want to be when you grow up? Someone who loves what they do for a living, and I want to have a great family. Lots of kids and all the material items that anyone could only dream to have.
Vanilla or chocolate? Both, I’m a eating machine.
Dean or Sam?
Can I rearrange the letters to SomenaD?
Left or Right
Both, I like to switch it up some times….in general, what were you thinking!
Top or Bottom?
I tend to think I end up in both places at one point or another.
Spoon…or fork? :)
How about a spork! I could use that bad boy for everything….well, I might need to put a cutting side on there somehow.
Hand or washcloth?
Both for all those hard to reach places.
You stand in front of three doors. What colors are they and what’s behind each, and which do you go through? Hopefully a white light and each one takes me to the same place. Somewhere wonderful.
Where can my readers learn more about you? (site links, etc.) They can visit my myspace which has links to other place where they can find me depending on what they’re looking for: www.myspace.com/unknownboy002003

Oh, my goodness. I have 10 girls descending on our house for the big SLEEPOVER tonight. Joy. It will be…interesting. So, I’ve been told I should “clean.” Apparently other girls’ mothers clean their houses more often. Well, I guess other girls’ mothers aren’t WRITERS. Haha. Doesn’t being a writer give me the get out of cleaning free card? And once again, as I knelt before the toilet with my bleach scrub in hand and a disgusting build up of something I don’t want to know it is all over the floor…I said: WHERE IS MY HOUSEBOY!!!!!! Well, hello. I could say I’ve had some time to process this news, but the fact is, I really haven’t, so I’m gonna get right to it and announce this and then I can move on with my day, namely, taking a shower and having some breakfast and then writing. Because I really have to, now. I just sold two more books to Spice– WAHOOOOOOOO!!!!! And one of them is a sequel to Tempted, so for all of you who wanted Alex to get his HEA, he will. Only time will tell with who, obviously, since it’s not written yet, but I can be pretty sure she’s gonna give him a run for his money. Going along with the book will be a Spice Brief, told in Alex’s POV, about his version of what happened that summer. So for anyone who wanted to get inside Alex’s mind, this will do that. And after that I have no clue what I’ll do, since I hadn’t thought much about it, but I do have this idea…about…a man and a woman…who…um…yeah. I’ll figure it out. And, in addtion, I’ve been told I’ll be writing two OTHER books, as yet to be determined, but not for Spice. So now I have to really think hard on what that means and what I’ll do and what sort of books I can really get behind because I’d been tossing around an idea here or there but hadn’t actually, you know…written anything. But they want me to write something, so I think it’s time to pull something out of the brain box and dust it off and get it started. Because you all know how much I LOVE to write in the summer. No, I won’t be stressed out at all. :) Then again, I do better with deadlines and projects to keep me busy, and it’s not like I don’t love what I do. So. It will be fine. I might have to hire a baby sitter and escape to the coffee shop, and I KNOW I’ll be up late every night, but that’s the way it goes in the summer. It’s all about balance. And now, to the shower, to I might be fresh and clean when I sit down again and start typing away on my nifty new keyboard that is teeny weeny tiny.
SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!!!!!! (I’m imitating Dean) Have a great day, all! I’d better get to typing. M ![]() If you enjoyed this post, make sure you subscribe to my RSS feed! |
