Exit Light review copies

Okay, lovely lads and lassies, here it goes…I have, on my hot little hard drive, review copies of my forthcoming Carina Press release EXIT LIGHT.

Now, who’d like one?

Step right up, and don’t push. Here’s how it’s gonna go…I *want* you to read this book. I *want* you to talk about it. But I am not able to provide all of you with copies (I mean, I don’t write for the love of it, I gots bills to pay too!) — so in order to make my limited number of copies go the farthest, I have to equitably distribute them.

If you’d like to get your very own .pdf or .epub copy of EXIT LIGHT to read before most of the rest of the world even has a chance, here’s what you need to do:

Please email the following information to: readinbed@gmail.com with the subject EXIT LIGHT REVIEW in the subject.

Name:
email address:
format (.pdf or .epub)
links to your blog/website/Twitter/Facebook etc. where you’d be posting your review:

I will send out TEN, yes, TEN (10) review copies to people what has blogs and whatnot, so that they might officially review the book. A review is respectfully requested, but it should be an HONEST review…in other words, all I ask is that you give the book a chance and be fair and honest in your assessment. (If it’s a bad review I can’t promise you I won’t die a little inside, but that’s the way this business goes.) Got it? Honest review, I hope it’s good but doesn’t have to be, just so long as you’re honest.

But Megan, you say. I don’t have a review blog. I just like to read books.

Not a problem.

If you don’t have a review blog, please send me the following information to readinbed@gmail.com:

Name:
email address:
format: (pdf or .epub)
**I DON’T HAVE A BLOG!!**
(yes, that’s really it!)

And I’ll give away an additional FIVE (5) copies of the book to people what has NOT a review blog, but just like to read.

Remember, please…an electronic file is meant for one sole recipient, not meant to be copied and passed around. Please don’t upload to a file sharing site or send it along to a friend, essentially copying it and making two where once there was one.

Deadline: May 25th, 2010, midnight EST

Get your requests in by then and I’ll let you know if you got picked by sending you a review copy.

And please, please, PLEASE…when I say be honest, let me post here what EXIT LIGHT is about…because it is NOT romance, and it is NOT erotica…and if I send you a review copy and you complain that it’s not a romance or erotic, I’m going to have to give you a stern look. And please, if you don’t like to read books that are not romance or erotic, please don’t request a review copy of EXIT LIGHT — let someone who does like to read spec fic have it, instead. I love you romance and erotic fiction readers, and you’ve got more coming. EXIT LIGHT ain’t it.

And thank you in advance to all the readers who are going to give EXIT LIGHT a read (even with the lack of love story and sexytimes!) xoxoxox

Exit Light by Megan Hart

Speculative Fiction

Releasing June 2010

Tovah Connelly would rather be asleep than awake. Since her accident, she’s become a shaper in the dream world, the Ephemeros, where she can manipulate places and people with just a thought. Tovah’s friends there, Ben and Spider, encourage Tovah to develop her skills, but the one ability she doesn’t want is to control the dreams of others—it’s a power she’s wary of, and a responsibility she’s not ready for.

Nobody can sleep all the time, though—not if they want a waking life that bears a semblance of normalcy. And Tovah’s waking life is vastly different from her dream life: she’s rebuilding and regaining her sanity after nearly losing it in the accident’s aftermath.

But when nightmares begin rocking the Ephemeros, Tovah’s two worlds begin to collide. As those she cares about are threatened, Tovah may discover that the one responsibility she doesn’t want is the only defense she has.

There it is! Ten copies to reviewer/bloggers and five to people who just read without that fancy stuff. Get  your requests in to me by 5/25/10 at midnight EST and you could get one!

Thanks, everyone!

I just finished Naked, and I have to tell you I love your books. I also love how you tie in characters from you other books. One Question are we ever going to have a book or short story from Jamie’s point of view, and to see if Alex and Olivia actually get married?

@Robyn: thanks! I’m not sure Jamie gets a POV…and while I’m sure Alex and Olivia will show up again at some point, I can’t say where. :)

      @Robyn: Rather…it’s not that I know and won’t say, I don’t know. So I can’t say.
