First *Hugs* Less sucky still has sucks in it’s make-up. I also hope that an editor will pick up this book, because all of your books will get better if you are allowed to spread your wings in another genre.
I am shocked you got the R….I know we all get one as an author but still I as a fellow author truly think you are amazing and so are your books. Someone will be missing out on a fantastic book…..
@Savannah Chase: see, I laugh that you’re shocked. WE ALL GET THEM!!!! We all do! That’s what I was trying to say! I’m glad you like my work, though, thanks.
I couldn’t get your vid post to play…problems here not from your end….but I’m sorry to hear you an R, as susan said have faith!
I wanted to tell you what a happy bunny I am cos I went and read your excerpt from Naked OMG OMG OMG ! I love it! I’m sooo looking forward to the release date! I’m inrigued about Beyonce and even danced to it in the shower, and watched Colbie Cailliat and her hunky guy(for about the millionth time cos I lurve it so much) get together in Realize! thank You Megan for Alexs’ book. Big bear hug to you!
I’m bummed about the lack of Megan Hart scifi. As I twitted, I read Amidst a Crowd of Stars recently and I *LOVED* it. I took it to my romance bookclub and described it to people and they’re all, “Megan Hart wrote that?! It sounds wonderful.” (Which is kind of insulting, but they meant it in a goodish way; more “it sounds wonderful in a way that isn’t her usual style” rather than “it sounds wonderful, how unlike her.”
So they tasked me to go away and see if it was available in print format and bring it back. I went away and couldn’t even find it in online format. I think I’m as in love with your scifi as your romance.
You didn’t say who rejected the proposal, but if it wasn’t Baen, please try again there before giving up on submitting it.
@Marci: Marci, Amidst is probably my favorite of anything I’ve ever written, and it will be available again soon (I hope!) with a new publisher. I guess what people don’t realize if they’ve only read my Spice books is that I *do* write romances sometimes. Romancy romances. Gooshy, squishy, snuggly, love cuddly romances.
I’ve only had one rejection on the sf book and it’s still out with other publishers, it’s not dead yet. But thanks
I write to music. Always. Hear what I'm listening to right this very minute as I write. You can listen to what I was listening to when I wrote certain books and stories. And, if you like a song, please purchase it from your favorite retailer so you can support the artist — because downloading music without paying for it is as douchey as pirating ebooks!

So, best of luck.

Sorry to hear it. There are lots of sci-fi publishers out there. One of them will want your book. I have faith.
