Yesterday was an epic day. Forty pages. Yes, 40. Yesterday, I wrote more pages than I have lived years on this earth. That’s about 10,000 words, btw.
So, yeah, that was a lot.
And then, brain broken, I watched EQUILIBRIUM so I could recover.
The problem with watching Equilibrium is that I suddenly want to dress like a Grammaton Cleric. Okay, maybe I really want Superman to dress like a Grammaton Cleric. But I want a cleric’s coat, or jacket, and thus led to the internet search for such a thing.
It’s not really what I want, though. I want more like…a jacket. Or something like this, really. See that? That’s my porn, right there. (NO. Not the MAN, just the OUTFIT. Not the OCCUPATION. Just the CLOTHES.)
So, yeah. I have to get off searching the internet for a place to find a really cool cleric’s outfit, because yeah, I totally NEED ONE OMG. *eyeroll*
How about this. Oh yes. OH YES.
You see the problem?
Don’t even get me started about how Superman started imitating Bale’s “goood for youuuuuuu” last night and I srsly almost lost…something…
Yeah.
I don’t think I’ll be doing 40 pages today. I’ll be lucky if I get a shower and put on some clothes.
M
Oh, also? Want this.

Holy Frijole Batman!!
You go wit yo badass self!
That is some serious zone-age/flowage; very full of the awesome!
I would be comatose.
My record word count in one day was around 5,200 words. I love that zone; when the story tells itself faster than my fingers can type. But it is draining.
Side note: I hit 40 in ’09. It blows.
They say age is just a number. Yeah. “They” lie. 40 is NOT the new 20. But, it is what it is. I feel like I’m still 27 in my head, but I know I dont look it. No matter how good one looks, how in shape one may be at 40, it aint 25. That (bitch) ship left the port, sailed, docked on the other side of the planet and she isnt ever coming back.
So revel in your 30′s-ness while you can. Roll around in it. Then when you hit 40 I’ll welcome you to the dark side.
Congrats on your day of writing awesomeness!
Peace out,
lola

@lola sharp: I believe I will embrace 40. I believe I will wrestle 40 to the ground and make it my bitch.
I’ll let you know in a few years.

LOL there was a tv show over here called Father Ted, so cleric outfits always seem to remind me of that…..and Father Jack sitting in the corner ,comatose in an alcohol fuelled fugg. Better the white one:)
40 pages is awesome, do you have fingers left to type with?
Reading No Greater Pleasure at the moment…love those lovely little english colloquial words you’ve put in there:)

Okay, I think the shorter black one which isn’t looking like a priest is pretty nice.
)) But it reminds me alot of Keanu Reeves in Matrix and Keanu is looking yummy in it.
I guess you won’t have looking Superman like a catholic priest and living in sin?
Yay, 4o pages!! That’s awesome! Last weekend I recieved Switch and think I gonna start reading it the following week, if hubby is more busy at work so I have time alone
The new website is great!

The ones I remember were Nebby which is only used in Nottinghamshire as far as I know..I’m 60 miles from there and no-one uses it here…. I thought OMG how does she know that LOL. Bint was another one and there were a few others that I can’t off hand recall but it made the charcters really come to life, of coourse I don’t know if these are words common in american colloquialism ‘cos I’m in the UK …I’m going now before you have me pegged as geek LOL
