Hi, Megan. Hmm. I am having mixed feeling about the Tempted scene. One one hand, I would love to read about what was said, but on the other hand, I don’t really think it matters. It would be a nice little extra for sure. As for laser eye surgery, I have been thinking about it, too. It sounds like we have similar vision, haha. Anyway, the only thing really holding me back is that I’ve heard that you can smell your eyes burning. And frankly, that is not something I am interested in smelling. Ever.As for revisiting characters, I personally think we are long overdue for some Sadie and Joe.

I love how you revisit characters as well because as you said, their stories aren’t finished when the book is over.

My favorite book of yours is Dirty and I’ve loved hearing about Dan and Elle in your other novels (are there babies in the works? haha).

I would love to read more about Anne and James and I don’t think you could possibly write a story/scene that would disappoint.

I am another that likes to see characters resurface. Like you said, the character is still out there unless they died. It’s not so far fetched for them to turn up in other places. While not everything I read is continuing stories, I do look forward to some books more than others because I want to find out what is happening with peripheral characters from a previous book.

As for the extra scene? Do it if you want to but don’t feel you have to. I love that you don’t write happy endings because really? They don’t actually exist. Happy moments do.

I absolutely love it when you(or any author for that matter) revisits characters. It’s like reconnecting with an old friend, remembering them and learning more about them. I’ve been waiting to hear something about Sadie and Joe ever since I finished Broken.
I going to have to go against writing that extra scene about the conversation from Tempted. I agree with you. It doesn’t matter what was said; the decision had been made. They could have said chicken salad. It doesn’t add anything to the story. However, if you write it, I will read it. And an update/revisit on Anne and James would be great.

I love that you revisit characters. I really enjoy finding out a bit more about characters and the connection to other characters in your novels. Even if it is as brief as the appearance of Joe and Sadie in Deeper, it is great to see the characters I love appear again.

I can not wait to read Alex’s story, and I would love a follow-up to Tempted.
