The videos you make about your writing process and the books you create are so interesting (in a good way) and lets us readers get just a brief glimpse of the genius at work. I LOVE YOUR BOOKS!!!
I can’t wait for Naked, he was unforgetable in Tempted and am so glad you decided to give him his own story.
BTW I am on my way to buy Lost Forever @ itunes, loved the brief snippet you had in the video, and thanks for taking the extra time to create the playlists it brings an added dimension to the books that I greatly enjoy.
I just got Stranger, so am hoping to read it this weekend
Great video blog, as always Megan! I just can’t wait until “Naked” comes out. Another chance to get to see more of my favorite literary bad boy Alex Kennedy. He’s my favorite male character out of all your books.
I loved the music you played. Missy Higgins is always a great choice, too! She was defiantly playing on my iPod while I was reading “Tempted”. “Where I stood” just summed up that book completely for me, and almost every time I hear it I think of that book.
What was the name of the last song you played? I know it, but just can’t place the title.
@Heidi: Where I stood is a great song for TEMPTED, though I didn’t know about it when I was writing it! Hmm. Last song I played. I’ll have to listen to the video again….Oh, it’s Everything Changes by Staind!

Missy Higgins is awesome..managed to see her live when I was in Melbourne and she rocks. ( Coming from this part of the world I am not very objective!) It is without doubt the perfect song for the book. I just loved Alex and felt he was by far the most honest and likeable of the trio….can I just plead for a happy ending for him……I had to run 7km after reading this book to clear my mind as it sent me into a real funk rewriting the ending for him!!!!
I write to music. Always. Hear what I'm listening to right this very minute as I write. You can listen to what I was listening to when I wrote certain books and stories. And, if you like a song, please purchase it from your favorite retailer so you can support the artist — because downloading music without paying for it is as douchey as pirating ebooks!
