Well, I’ve been playing the Sims 2. I hear there’s a Sims 3 coming out in February, but not for Mac, so I’m making due with what I got. Stocking up, if you will, since I only play hard like this when my kids aren’t in school and I can’t get any work done and I don’t have to get up early. I *love* the Sims!
Right now I have a couple families going, mainly the Smithenwesson family. Two brothers, Sam and Will, moved in with Will’s wife Ella. Well. That didn’t go over so well at first because Ella and Sam fell in love! But then Sam moved out to leave them in peace (but not before they had their first set of twins, Merrin and Jerald.)
Here’s Uncle Sam holding baby Merrin:
Here’s Ella and Will in the bathroom, in the house they moved into after Sam moved out:
And then Sam got a makeover including new hair and a goatee! He took on some roommates, Ripp, Deke and Bella Elsinore. I didn’t realize until this moment that Bella and Ella rhyme, and maybe that’s why…even though she was a teenager when they moved in…
Sam eventually became BFF with Bella and when she became an adult, they were almost instantly in loooooove! She also got a makeover.
Yes. I know she has purple hair like someone else we know.
And then eventually…Bella got pregnant. I think it was after they got married but I can’t remember. Anyway, they did get married and Sam became Sam Elsinore.
And they like to cuddle on the couch in their underpants.
Well. Wouldn’t you?
And that’s what I’ve been doing lately.

Guilty… yes, I like to cuddle on the couch. I like to cuddle anywhere really. With dh, the dog, one of the cats… I’ve been known to cuddle a pillow if I can’t reach anyone else.
As for the underpants part… I’m too cold natured to sit around in my underroos… I need something soft and well, cuddly to keep me warm.

@ Ally — LOL well that’s why you need a Sam!
Heh! I just realized…Sam’s the name of the hero in Stranger, and that’s not at all why I named my Sim that.

I loaded Sims2 on the PC this weekend and all my people seem to want to do is pee. What the heck do you do when they are outside? Why can’t I make my men pee on the side of a building like real men do?

@Patty — oh, my! Well I’ll admit it, I use cheats to maximize their motives when they get too out of control. Do a search on cheats and you’ll find tons of stuff — get more money, etc.

OK..I don’t get it. I know, helloooo lame everyone knows about the “Sims”.
Is it a game, or Rollercoaster Tycoon kinda thing?
Pweeeease explain more for those out of the loop. I’m not asking the kids, well… because then they just laugh at me!

I’ve heard of the Sims, but I’ve never played myself. Looks like you’ve been having fun and keeping busy with them, though. Perhaps I’ll have to get me a Sam to see what it’s like to cuddle in my underclothes.

OMG. The Sims is my crack and I was seriously addicted at one point in time. I play for 24 hours straight once.
Yes, I know.

There’s a cheat to maximize motives? Really?

The Sims 2 is why I have no life anymore and don’t get any sleep. ;p I recently bought it and installed it on my laptop. No one has heard from me since.

@Lisa Lee: I know. I’ve promised myself to buy the Season Expansion pack if I make my writing goal this month.
