I thought it was Superman.
(Get your minds out of the gutter!)
But when Superman said “WHAT WAS THAT!” I tore out my earplugs, heart pounding, and sat up! (Well, halfway up.)
“I thought it was you moving around!”
“No, I was asleep!”
“What the hell?”
“IT WAS AN EARTHQUAKE!”
And yes, it was!
Crazy.
My first earthquake.

WHAT??? Ack!
I’ll keep my Hurricanes …least we know when those suckers are coming!
LMAO…Remembered that Laverne and Shirley Epi…when THEY had their first earthquake..those twin beds rolling around.
OMG..I just aged myself! Uh…Oh yeah, from watching Nic at Night of course!
Well hope you don’t get anymore!! Stay safe and keep on a radio or something in case any alerts are issued.

Wow. I grew up in NJ. I didn’t realize there were any fault lines in that area. We haven’t had one here yet since I moved to northwest WA. But I think when I experience my first one it will be a little freaky!
Did things rattle around? How long did it last? Hope it was a one time thing.

Eeek!
I hope everything is okay. Everyone too, for that matter.
Sheesh. I can’t believe there was an Earthquake in Pennsylvania! That means there could easily be one in Ohio too.
Shit. I was sort of hoping to hold that experience off until I could swing my triumphant move to the west coast.

Oops – well I hope as everyone else said everything is ok.
As long as there isn’t damage, I don’t mind earthquakes. I experienced my first, the first time (and first time) I went abroad. It was quite an experience.

Scary! And very strange because even living in the poor old inert UK, I’ve experienced three. The most exciting was when we were camping and it sounded like a large lorry going past in low gear and the ground rolled under us like waves.
It really upset the sheep and we could hear every dog for miles howling.
Glad you’re all safe though. It’s quite an experience.

Eeeeek! Thank goodness it wasn’t too bad.
Here in Toronto we were shocked when we had a mini one a few years back! I was working on I think it was the 6th floor that day and I could feel a weird rumbling under my feet when later it was all over the news that we’d had an earthquake! WTF?
And lately we’ve been getting tornados too.
It’s the end of the world as we know it…

Having lived in Southern Cal, earthquakes are a part of life. It’s rather strange to hear other people react when they experience it for the first time.
Good to hear no one was hurt.
