So. Last night I went out with my friend to celebrate her birthday. And I’m in a bar, and some random guy slides over to me and says, “Did anyone ever tell you you look like Molly Shannon?”
Yeah. Every time I go to a bar! I am serious. I can’t even count how many times someone has told me I look JUST LIKE MOLLY SHANNON.
I like Molly Shannon; it’s not an insult or anything. But I don’t really *see* it — that I look like Molly Shannon.
So, tell me, all: do I look like Molly Shannon?

Uhhh I’m gonna have to say no. I watch Kath & Kim every week (OMG I have to admit, that stupid show makes me giggle) so I’m looking at Molly on a weekly basis. And no you don’t remind me of her. Hmm.
Maybe if I had drunk goggles on then you’d remind me of Molly Shannon? I’m blaming alcohol on those claims. LOL

Maybe… a tiny bit? And I agree with Karen – likely the drunk goggles help. That and it gives a/the guy an opening/what he thinks is a clever line?

I don’t really think you look a lot like Molly Shannon, but I have to agree with limecello that there might be a tiny bit of similarity enhanced by beer goggles and/or what the person thinks is a good line.

I think it might be your smile? It’s not your hair (where are the bangs? Did someone chicken out? Hum???) or eye’s…but I think maybe your smile is similiar.
Course it might also be me looking through sleepy eyes.

My first reaction to this question was “No.” But then as I was scrolling through and saw another picture of you with a full on smile- I kind of see the resemblance. Serious looking face Megan- NO- big smile Megan- yes-

Geez, what a bunch of kissasses.
Seriously, though, it’s not something you can see in a 2D photo or even your videos. It’s purely in the facial mannerisms, and you don’t look like her, SHE looks like YOU.
In other words, I don’t see Molly Shannon when I’m with you, I see you when I’m watching Molly Shannon.

Googled for Molly Shannon and there’s the vaguest most superficial resemblance but you have better bone structure and look more intelligent. :-*
