My rockstar day.
<div class=\"postavatar\">my-rockstar-day</div>

Yesterday, I went to New York City for the day — I was going to a friend’s gallery show. You’ve all heard me rave about Scott Church.Well, he had a show and I went with Superman into the city to see it! So that was pretty rockstar, hanging out a gallery show with an artist. Very cool.

What was also cool was that I had the chance to see my Berkley editor, Cindy Hwang’s, office! Like, her real office where she sits and stuff. And her bookshelves! I saw copies of Anya Bast’s books! And across the hall at Leis Pederson’s desk I saw Lauren Dane’s books, looking so pretty. :) The office looked you know, like an office, but still, it was MY EDITOR’S OFFFFFICEEE!!!! WHEEEE! And then we went to dinner and THAT, my friends, is totally like an author’s dream. Well, my dream, anyway.

To go to NYC just for the day and pop in to see my editor, all casual like. Wheeeee!

But today I’m braindead tired and haven’t done much of anything but eat and upgrade my wordpress plugins!

That would all make me very nervous.

You know I can sing karaoke in front of hundreds or people on a cruise ship, but I thin I would die if I had to go meet my editor in NY. Unless I had cocktails first. That would help.
