I’ve got one left…

Want to win an ARC of Stranger?

I have one left. You can win it! All you have to do is agree to talk about it on your blog, to your friends, to your neighbors, sisters, brothers, that lady on the bus with the strange hat, the mail carrier, that dude in the coffee shop who always spills the sugar, your ex-boyfriend, your college professor (the one who gave you a D), your doctor, your houseboy and the local radio station.

Or, just, you know, someone other than yourself.

Of course I hope you love it, or at least enjoy it, but it’s okay if you don’t. (I may cry inside but I’ll never let you know.)

If you’d like to win a copy of Stranger long before any of the other cool kids get theirs, leave a comment with the reason why YOU should be the one to get it. The wilder, crazier, the better. Remember that old commercial, what would you do for a Klondike bar? I’ll randomly draw one lucky person by the 17th of October…!

    Oooohhh ohhh….. me wants!

As to why I should get it, hmmm…. cause I’ll go to all my local bookstores and rearrange all their shelves real stealthy-like so any copies of your books get more face time?

    I’m guerilla like that.

@Gemini: LOL!!! Well, that sounds like a good reason to me. You’re certainly in the running!

    Me me me!!!

My reason is that I wrote a book called Stranger myself a few years ago [well 'The Stranger'...]

I could compare and contrast them in a blog post! :)

@Portia Da Costa: LOL! We could do a joint discussion about why we like strangers!

    It’s perennially beloved theme, isn’t it? Sex with a hawt stranger… :)

Me! You’re my favorite. I’ll review Stranger everywhere. I’ve introduced you to my friends….and I’m always making NEW friends since the Army makes me move all the time! And somewhere deep inside I know I deserve something this fabulous!

I thought of this cheesy lines of why I would love to have the stranger book with me..

It is always better to have a person whom you don’t know, who you don’t intereact with, and most def. a person whom is not like any other man.. sometimes is better to have a stranger in your life, in your bed and in your soul.. a stranger who will completely change your life because he knows what you want and how you want it…

If I won it you would NEVER EVER find it in a second hand shop! LOL

But I will share it with friends and family that want to read it AFTER I have read it a few times first!

And if I ever do find any of your books in a second hand shop I will buy them even if I already own them.

I definitely deserve Stranger because, even though I live in Italy, they are seriously lacking in English books and genres! Their idea of romance (and erotica, for that matter) is to take a plethora of Harmony books, splash some vibrant fucshia on the spines and spam them at every newsstand. And call them “pink novels.”

Please save me from my fate! Woe is me! Woe! woe….

I’ve already sent out two emails this month recommending your books to some girlfriends who, *ahem* need to open up a bit. This would be a bit of Pay-it-forward! :)

Plus, I’ll be honest…you’re in my top 5 authors (don’t ask who the other 4 are, play nice!) so I would love an autograph, too!

Pick me! Pick me! I can throw a dodgeball!

    No, seriously. I can.

And perhaps I can send you a little something-something from here.

    Me!
Megan, I deserve your ARC of Stranger because I just can’t take the wait anymore! Holy Sh*t, do you realize that it will be an entire YEAR between the release of Tempted and Stranger?! I’ve got to be honest with you, it’s sort of hard to go that long between full-length novel fixes! Getting Stranger a few months early would certainly help with my nervous condition. ;) Why, I’ll be so excited to finally get my grubby mits on that book that not only will I blog about it on all 3 of my blogs (I’m a jabberer) every single one of my friends/family will have to listen to me drone on about it in person. I’ll convert them to lifetime fans, which will increase your sales. You can count on me!
Seriously though, you are my favorite, and the last page of Dirty makes me cry every time too. Isn’t that Reason Enough? (Wha’chu gonna do with all those puns…)

If you don’t give me a copy, I’ll have to wait until whenever a copy ends up on eBay Australia on a price I can afford…and who knows how long that’ll be? ;-)

    Have a lovely day! :-)

    I deserve it, too, y’all.

And you know why? Because I am willing to make an appointment with a funeral director (male or female) and discuss this book with him/her. I will be candid about the nature of the book and whoever is willing to meet with me will have the honor of having a new way of looking at their profession.

Hmmm…on second thought, I may have to limit it to females first (if there are a number of them out there). I don’t know if I may be opening myself to potential weirdo fixation. Or maybe just write anonymous letters instead. Oh boy, I sound like a wimp-out already .

Alright, I’m willing to discuss it with the hot guy who runs around the block. I’ll tell him that it’s a well-documented phenomenon that reading Megan Hart’s books count as a cardio work-out. I’ll even lend him my copy (after I’ve read it, of course). And we’ll have to exchange email addresses or phone numbers at least, in case further er discussions become necessary. ; D

Uh, yes. Yes I do. I want it like I want to breathe air. [Ok well not that much but I figure being melodramatic is good. I mean, air is more important than food.]
I LOVE your books. LOVE. And it boggles the mind because I love my happy, and generally/used to think of myself as a strictly fluff reader. But I’ll read your books, sit and go “huh” – then turn it around and read it over again. Cover to cover.
I would talk about the book all over the interwebs – and what would I do for it? I’d miss an OSU football game. And you know Buckeye fans are nuts. :P Or I would give up cookies for 2 weeks. And all other sweets. [A big sacrifice since in college I devised a "diet" consisting entirely of desserts.] :) Haha, I’m too tired to actually be clever. Regardless, I’m going to read this book. And squee like an idiot when I get my hands on it. Whoever does get the ARC will be one lucky reader.

    Oh Megan,

Pick me. I’m playing dirty and I know it!

Pick me because I have spent more of 2008 with “you” than my own husband, while he in Iraq flying Navy SEALs where they needed to go…. If you ever need information about the military, I promise to get you the answer. Especially if it concerns flying a Blackhawk helicopter in Iraq or Afghanistan.

Pick me because I have lived in Germany for five years and didn’t see the inside of a Barnes and Noble since I’d worked in one.

Because I hate Comcast too. Although my problems are not with the shows that I personally record…..but with the premium On-Demand…if I pay for these things why should I get an error code 90% of the time?

I’ve loved Supernatural from the beginning and knew Sam when he was Dean on Gilmore Girls.

Because I now listen to Joshua Radin because of you…..

Because my daughter and I dyed our hair purple this past summer (although I had thought that she would choose pink!).

And simply because I think you are the best. You write intelligent sexy books that have made me cry. I could never forget Elle or Sadie or Alex…. And I have two more of your books that I ordered waiting for me on my shelf. I would read them right now except that I am seeing my husband for the first time in 9 months…. He has to go back to Germany from November 4th until December 2nd. I think that would be a heck of a time to write those reviews and share the word.

Or just because I am a “book ho.”

    desperate,
    Lee

HI! Pick me.. you just have to! I am by far your biggest fan – well at least in Massachusetts.. :) I have told anyone and everyone about ALL of your books, especially Tempted… including the lady at Dunkin’ Donuts that I get my coffee from daily. I spent an entire cookout discussing how your books are somehow related to my life – and yet you obviously don’t know me, so how could you write so well? lol.. And well PICK ME – because I am absolutely crazy and would just love to have Stranger read before anyone else can even get their hands on a copy!! Oh and True Blood rocks… Sookie!!

You have no idea. I just ate 2 cakes in 2 days. [Ok, so each one was $1.50 and they were 7 oz but still. Sounds incredible, doesn't it?]
I’d rather give up meat or carbs than give up all dessert type things. (And I know that doesn’t make sense – but there’s a reason my background is in humanities and social sciences) :P

I should win the ARC because I’ve already pre-ordered the book on Amazon.com along with the new book you’ve coauthored with Laura Dane.
Please- pick me I can’t wait until the new year to read it!
