So I finished up and sent off my final contracted thing today. Gilt and Midnight is a Spice Brief and *bites nails* I hope my editor likes it because it has…some things…in it…that I never wrote before…

Anyway *I* liked it very muchly. 
So what next? What next? Tonight is the last baseball game for the summer and that will be good. Probably will have ice cream later but OMG I’ve gone back on my diet and well, it will be hard to deny myself that treat. Remind me that I don’t like the bulge in my bathing suit.
I have some magazines and stuff to read and a bunch of books. Finished all my library books so have to go back for more. Of course I have a really really high TBR pile anyway but I need something that’s not erotic/romance etc. to keep me from overdosing.
I like to read SF/F and horror most of all. I finished Ender’s Game, a classic I enjoyed but I liked Lost Boys better. I also read Dirty Job and thought it was fantastic. And I read the last two Sookie Stackhouse books bam bam, right in a row, realized I missed two in there somehow but managed to figure out what was going on.
I’ve got Raven Hart’s book right now that I got at RT and it’s very good so far but I’m worn out from vampires, really, so I’m going to take my time with that one, I think. It’s very well written but I’m just tired of fangs.
So anyway, I’m going to eat and get ready for baseball and think about what I want to write next!
